BIRMINGHAM, AL (June 19, 2020) – Birmingham Legion FC announced today that a pair of job fairs will be held next week at Legion FC HQ located at 2213 1st Ave. S, Birmingham, AL 35233. The first session will take place on Wednesday, June 24 from 2-6pm, and the second session will be on Saturday, June 27, from 10am-2pm.
On both days, the event will be held in the parking lot at the office in order to maintain appropriate social distance. Tents will be set up for one-on-one interviews, hand sanitizer will be available, and attendees will be asked to fill out an application and remain in their cars until their turn to be interviewed.
Some of the openings available include concessions, bartenders, game day operations, ushers, sanitation crew, retail, and porters. Candidates attending the job fair will be able to speak with Human Resources representatives and the Vice Presidents of stadium and business operations.
“Job fairs are a great way to interact with candidates in person, to introduce them to the Legion FC staff, and to get them acclimated to a professional soccer team,” said Legion FC President/GM Jay Heaps. “We are excited to get the season underway and we need quality, local people to help build and enhance that gameday experience for our fans.”
The USL Championship will return to play July 11. Keep an eye on https://www.bhmlegion.com and @bhmlegion on social media for the updated schedule coming out soon.
