Every club has a home. For Birmingham Legion FC, home is more than a stadium or a training ground. It is the streets we walk, the parks where families gather, the local businesses that open their doors every morning, and the people who bring this city to life
The 2026 “All Roads Lead Home” Kit is a tribute to that heartbeat. Woven into the fabric is a map of Birmingham and its surrounding suburbs, a reminder that every road in this city leads back to the community that forged this club. Across that map sit the three Legion sparks, marking the places where we play, train, and work, connecting the badge on the chest directly to the city that stands behind it.
The details of the kit carry that same story. The jersey features a woven grey collar and sleeve cuffs with gold accents, reflecting the pride and identity of Birmingham. At the back of the neck, the number 205 is proudly displayed, Birmingham’s area code and a number that means home to everyone who lives here.
Birmingham has long been known as The Magic City, a nickname earned when the city rose almost overnight during the iron and steel boom of the late 1800s. What began as a small railroad crossing quickly became one of the South’s most important industrial centers.
But the real magic of Birmingham is not just in its history. It is in its people.
Often called The Tree City, Birmingham is one of the most heavily forested urban areas in the country, with nearly half the city covered by trees. From shaded neighborhood streets to parks and green spaces across the region, nature is part of everyday life here.
And like the canopy above it, Birmingham is made stronger by the many communities that make it whole. It is a city shaped by different cultures, backgrounds, traditions, and generations. Together they create something uniquely Birmingham.
When designing the All Roads Lead Home kit, we wanted to celebrate that. Not just the landmarks, but the everyday places that define the city. The people who wake up here, work here, raise families here, and gather together on match nights at Protective Stadium.
To tell that story, we stepped into the neighborhoods and captured moments that feel unmistakably Birmingham.
Hero Doughnuts – Valley Post, Chelsea
Hero Doughnuts has quickly become a favorite gathering spot. The location featured in the campaign sits in the Valley Post development serving the growing communities along the Highway 280 corridor.
It is the kind of place where mornings begin. Coffee in hand, friends catching up, and neighbors starting their day together.

Alabama Peanut Company – Morris Avenue
At 2016 Morris Avenue, the Alabama Peanut Company has been part of Birmingham since 1907. More than a century later, the shop still roasts peanuts the same way it always has. The smell alone tells you you are somewhere special, a place where Birmingham’s past still lives in the present.

Sloss Furnaces
Few places represent Birmingham like Sloss Furnaces, located at 20 32nd Street North. Operating since 1882, the blast furnaces helped build the industrial backbone of the city. Today the towering stacks remain a symbol of the grit, resilience, and hard work that forged Birmingham. The backdrop for Legions 2026 player signings campaign.

Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex
At Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex, youth players take the field every weekend. During our shoot we spent time with a group of U8 girls, capturing the joy that reminds us why the game matters in the first place. They represent the future of soccer for all of us.

Richard Allen
Richard Allen, now 78, has been a Birmingham Legion FC season ticket holder since the inaugural season in 2019. Occasionally spotted watching training from the fence line, Richard is a familiar face around the club. Supporters like him are part of the foundation that makes this club what it is.

Cahaba Heights Firefighters
Firefighters from Cahaba Heights / Mt. Laurel represent the everyday heroes who serve the communities across Birmingham. Their presence in the campaign honors the people who protect and care for this city every day.

Adios
Located on 1st Avenue North, Adios has become one of downtown Birmingham’s most beloved gathering spots since opening in 2022. It is the kind of place where the music is loud, the conversations are real, and strangers quickly become friends.

NorthStar Ministries Soccer Club
On 3409 17th Ave N, kids from NorthStar Ministries gathered for a pickup game outside a neighborhood house. Founded in 2000, NorthStar supports Birmingham families through mentorship, education, and youth programming.
It was soccer the way it is meant to be played. In its raw form. Sweaters for goalposts with friends.
The house featured in the shoot is also currently for sale.

Homewood Central Park
At Homewood Central Park, located at 1632 Oxmoor Road, we captured a mother and her young son playing together in the playground. It was a simple moment that perfectly reflects the heart of Birmingham. Families spending time together and creating core memories in the spaces that bring communities together.

Street Basketball
Not every moment in the campaign was planned. While driving from one shoot to another, we came across a family playing basketball together on the neighborhood courts, enjoying a simple moment that perfectly captured the everyday spirit of Birmingham.
We stopped the car, introduced ourselves, and asked if they would be part of the story.
They said yes. Because that is Birmingham. Their Birmingham, Your Birmingham.

Salud Taqueria
On 20th Street North, Salud Taqueria, has become one of downtown Birmingham’s most vibrant restaurants since opening in 2022. It is full of energy, color, and conversation. The kind of place where the city gathers.

New Day Barber and Style
Located at 1631 4th Avenue North, New Day Barber and Style, owned by Keith “KT” Taylor, has served the community for more than a decade. Inside the shop, clippers buzz while stories, laughter, and conversation fill the room. It is more than a barbershop. It is a place where the neighborhood connects.

More Than a Kit
Together, these places and people tell the story of Birmingham and its surrounding suburbs.
From historic landmarks to neighborhood businesses. From kids playing soccer to families shooting hoops. From lifelong supporters to the everyday heroes who serve the community.
This is our city.
These are our people.
And when the players pull on the 2026 Birmingham Legion FC Home Kit, they carry all of it with them.
Every street. Every neighborhood. Every story.
Because in Birmingham, no matter where you are from…
All roads lead home.
The 2026 Birmingham Legion FC Home Kit is now available through the Legion FC online fan store.
The kit will retail for $99 for adults and $79 for youth.
Fans can also grab the kit at tomorrow’s match, kicking off at 7:00 PM at Protective Stadium, where the team will take the field wearing the new design for the first time.
Our city. Our people. Our club. 205.
