Birmingham Legion FC proudly invites your school to join Learning with Legion, a comprehensive, season-long enrichment program that brings the excitement of professional soccer directly into your classrooms, gyms, and assemblies.
This isn’t just a one-time visit.
From April through November, your students will receive monthly interactive experiences led by Legion FC players and coaches.
Our Learning with Legion program is designed to:
- Strengthen your students’ literacy and love of reading.
- Promote healthy, active lifestyles in your PE program.
- Build leadership, teamwork, and resilience.
- Connect your kids with local role models they can look up to.
Your students will also get the chance to experience the thrill of live professional soccer during our Education Day Matches on:

Wednesday, September 23rd at 11 AM

SUMMER READING PROGRAM
We have teamed up with Barnes & Noble to bring kindergarten through 8th-grade students a summer reading series where kids can enjoy storytime events and discover new books to add to their journals.
- Students track their reading hours over summer break.
- Parents submit their logs online through our gamecard portal or at reading drop-off clinics.
- Families can also participate in reading drop-off clinics, where parents bring their children’s reading logs in person, connect with Legion staff, and receive on-the-spot rewards and encouragement.
- As reading hours increase, students earn Legion game tickets, swag, and exclusive prizes.
- The more your kids read, the bigger the rewards, making summer reading an exciting challenge for all!
