Meet Noigel, Birmingham Legion FC’s lovable, globe-trotting mascot.

Noigel may be new to the Magic City, but his story started all the way back when Birmingham Legion FC first took the field. Created from the imagination of Birmingham’s own Vulcan, Noigel was meant to become the club’s biggest supporter from day one. There was just one small problem: Vulcan forgot to tell him which Birmingham.
So Noigel began his journey in Birmingham, England, and from there, his adventure took him across the world. He climbed, explored, wandered, danced, cheered, snapped Polaroids, collected stickers, made friends, and somehow always found a soccer ball nearby. From famous landmarks to faraway cities, Noigel searched high and low for the place where he truly belonged.
Now, after years of travel, Noigel has finally found his way home to Birmingham, Alabama.
With his bright yellow fur, wild red hair, big googly eyes, black sneakers, and even bigger personality, Noigel brings energy, laughter, and Legion pride everywhere he goes. You can find him at Protective Stadium cheering on the Three Sparks, taking photos with fans, dancing in the stands, and helping create unforgettable memories for kids and families.
Noigel is more than a mascot. He is Birmingham Legion FC’s ambassador of fun, curiosity, community, and soccer. Whether he is leading cheers on matchday, visiting schools, joining community events, or sharing stories from his great adventure around the world, Noigel reminds every Legion fan that all roads lead home.
Just remember: don’t call him Nigel.
It’s Noigel.
