The Chris Richards FIFA Arena Mini Pitch initiative is a community impact project in Birmingham, led by U.S. Men’s National Team player Chris Richards in partnership with Birmingham Legion FC and the U.S. Soccer Federation’s Soccer Forward Foundation. Together, this initiative uses the power of soccer to create a sustainable, accessible space for play, development, and connection within the community.
Birmingham Legion FC will lead and operate all programming on the pitch, delivering youth clinics, grassroots initiatives, pickup soccer, adaptive programming, and inclusive community experiences. This ensures the pitch remains active, accessible, and impactful, creating lasting opportunity and engagement through the game.

FIFA Arena Facility Use Waiver & Release of Liability
By entering or using the FIFA Arena facility, participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with soccer and related activities, including injury, illness, death, or property loss. Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Facility, its owners, staff, partners, and affiliates from any liability arising from participation or use of the premises. Participants also accept responsibility for any damage or destruction of Facility property caused by themselves or their guests and agree to reimburse repair or replacement costs. All users must follow Facility rules and understand that participation is voluntary and at their own risk.
