Brett led the line for Legion FC in 2020 and finished the shortened season with nine goals and three assists in 17 games. He returned in 2021 and had an even better season by bagging a career-high 18 goals and three assists to earn a spot on the USL Championship All-League Second Team.
The Jamaican spent 2022 with USLC side New Mexico United and made 25 appearances, scored eight goals, and added three assists. Before joining Legion FC, Brett made an All-League Second Team in 2019 with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, a club where he scored 32 goals to go with 17 assists in 70 games across two seasons.
Brett began his professional career in Jamaica, and played for the Jamaica Under-17 and Under-20 teams, before coming to America to play college soccer at Robert Morris University from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, he was selected in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft by the Portland Timbers.
