BIRMINGHAM, AL (Nov. 15, 2018) – Birmingham Legion FC announced today a multi-year partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group that will result in Legion FC matches airing on My68 WABM ‘The Television Home of Birmingham Legion FC.’ The deal also includes exclusive coverage opportunities and promotional elements across three local stations (My68 WABM, WTTO-CW21, and ABC 33/40).
“From our first discussion with Sinclair Broadcast Group, Eric and his team shared the passion we feel for our Birmingham club and were resolute in their determination to become the television home of Legion FC,” said Legion FC President and General Manager Jay Heaps. “Through this partnership, soccer fans across the region will have access to matches and the most in-depth coverage of our club.”

Legion FC fans throughout the region will be able to follow their club at home and away via the over-the-air broadcast agreement. Additional details, including full schedule, broadcast talent and specific promotional activation will be announced at a later date.
